It was after viewing 'Still Life', a piece of experimental film by the Israeli filmmaker and video artist Chen Sheinberg, that Sivan inserted a new scene into the script of 'Tikkun'.

The original piece presents the protagonist, a stick-insect, interacting with Chen's daughter. Inspired by this, Sivan invited her to play in 'Tikkun', and star in a scene that pays hommage to her father's piece.
